빌 게이츠와 아내 멜린다 게이츠가 설립한 이 재단은 국제 보건의료 확대와 빈곤 퇴치 등 활동하고 있다. 게이츠는 최근 빌&멜린다게이츠 재단 기부액이 280억달러(약 30조원)를 넘어섰다고 밝혔 바있다.
